Stathi Construction was established in 1995 by owner and master carpenter Steve Demetrulias. To honor his Greek heritage, he named the company "Stathi" which means stability and strength - qualities he instills in every one of his projects.

Stathi Construction specializes in  residential home building but also works with re-models and custom furniture.

Steve Demetrulias has been a resident of the Glen Carbon-Edwardsville area for over 45 years. The son of building contractor Nick Demetrulias, Steve grew up around construction sites. Working side by side with his father, Steve was raised learning carpentry skills with the attention to detail that sets his work apart from others.

His long term residence of the area has allowed Steve to become familiar with the local industry. He has established rooted relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers who he can rely on as trusted resources. Finish work on homes is done by Steve himself, a task he truly enjoys and has mastered over years of experience.
